Haringey borough is dynamic and vibrant.
By and Large people work together and aspire together.
However this Haringey harmony like many other areas is being threatened.
The BNP, hypocritical, insidious and hateful are trying to corrupt our way of life.
Typically falsehood division and intimidation are threatened.
They say cultures can't mix and proceed to cite examples.
They say that during the Oldham riots Islamic youth burned down pubs as alcohol is against their religion.
Is it not clear that all religion teach a fundamental respect for other people and their property?
The BNP says that white men may have dreadlocks and smoke drugs but may cross the road on seeing a black man.
I say that ignorance will bread fear. Most black men are descent, brought up right and hold good values close.
You cross the road because you are afraid, not because blacks are bad.
The BNP says that the Oldahm owl was removed from signs as some religions forbid idolatry of animals.
I say equalities such as affirmative action has show that women are as capable as men and that all people from all cultures can contribute wholly to society.
Also some corporate logos are often changed just for corporate reasons.
Immigration the big issue with hard questions such as
Who goes who stays?
Who comes, who runs?
Snagat and every nations international responsibilities?
The 3 world and how to fix impoverished countries?
Ethnic cleansing is not the answer.
How could they be so base as to be like the tyrants their forefather fought against?
We responded to nations plea for help from Kosovo to Kuwaiti.
How can we be like those whose hateful ways we abate?
The debate will rage as long as some have and others don't,
As long as men suppress each other through hateful ways.
As long as people seek a better land
A word to any disenfranchised youth. Who may feel that their white UK heritage is being lost or diluted.
In my lifetime the schools still teach...
Of Kings and Queens of Tudor and the Stewards
Of the war of the roses and the battle of the Somme.
The crafts of thatery and may pole dancing
Of the days of the Iron Age...
and how the Second World War was won.
There are programs about our heritage,
about inventions new and old.
Not forgetting Shakespeare
and a language that is broadcast around the whole world.
Your heritage is rich and wonderful, there is nothing lacking in its depth.
So denounce the BNP and its falsehoods.
And embrace your community instead.
